My social conditioning is a bitch.
I’m a woman, so society put a world of inadequacy into my subconscious.
I focus more of my time on being pretty than I do deciding who I want to be.
It’s fucking aggravating.
What does it mean to be a woman?
To spend a lifetime missing out on the full human experience because we’re all too busy comparing ourselves to each other while simultaneously waiting for approval?
To be a woman here is to find yourself under the trance of patriarchy.
Locked out of our own genius and innovative nature.
Watching all of our potential pass us by through a thick glass window.
Separated by this partition of confusion and pain.
Waiting for a savior that has never, ever existed.
