Old Journals

Going through my old journals is such a trip.
I was able to work out SO MUCH, just by writing.
I was able to build awareness, grow, and decide what I want all on my own.
My journal from 2015-17 had all the goals.
I wanted a house, to go to Europe, bump my net worth up to 6 figures.
Literally ALL of of that happened within 3 years.
Which is incredible!
In my journals, I also realize it was all about the gratitude. And prayer.
Let’s keep that going.
I’m so grateful to past me for figuring out how to feel better, how to heal and grow.
I’m so grateful that even though things felt so difficult and uncomfortable, I still found so much to be grateful for in the midst of it.
I’m grateful for my beautiful piano, my king sized bed, the sound of Sunnie walking up the stairs, the twinkling Christmas lights in my house, for my sister and nephews, for never quitting or giving up on what I want, for always finding ways to move forward.
I’m thankful for the emotions of resilience, courage, innocence.
I’m thankful for my mom, how she’s taken control of her life in her 60s—it’s never too late to start. How she is taking responsibility and creating the life she wants.
How she gives to all of our family and has maintained faith and prayer and love, even though she’s been hurt and lost before.
I’m thankful for my dad. How his soul is gentle and kind and giving, intelligent and aware. A healer and a guide—a shaman. I’m so grateful to learn from him
